A parent’s impact on their child’s learning can’t be overstated. Many of the Literacy Alliance’s incarcerated students have children being taken care of by family members or partners until they are released. Our Corrections Family Literacy program gives our incarcerated students an opportunity to connect with their children through reading, allowing them to be involved in their children’s education.
